Dataicraft was founded in 2023 and builds two platforms. Novus ERP is the resource planning system used by organisations that manufacture, hold inventory, or sell. Novus Pulse is the communications platform those applications use to reach customers, currently over email and SMS.
Alongside these platforms, we engineer data and AI systems for other organisations: warehouses, pipelines, analytics, and machine learning built on their own operational data. All of this software holds financial ledgers, inventory records, and customer communications, and carries the availability and correctness requirements that follow from that.
How we operate
- Engineering teams operate what they build
- The team that develops each system is responsible for running it in production. Support is not handed to a separate tier unfamiliar with the codebase, which shortens the path from a reported fault to a corrected one.
- A single ledger, not reconciled modules
- Novus ERP records sales, procurement, production, inventory, and accounting against one ledger rather than synchronising separate module databases. This constrains what the product can be extended to do, and it is the reason reported figures agree across functions.
- Evidence comes from running systems
- When a client asks how something behaves under load, at volume, or at month end, the answer comes from a deployment we operate. Running our own products in production is what allows us to answer that precisely.
